Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve reliability of an igniter, by inhibiting overrevolution of an engine through a high precision revolution detector. CONSTITUTION:An end of a resistor 11, as an input terminal, is provided with pulse generated as output of a pickup in proportion to revolution of a signal generator. When the period of input pulse is below the detected revolution corresponding to the reference voltage, the charging period of a condenser 27 is reduced, but when the pulse period exceeds the revolution, the condenser 27 is kept charged. This turns on a rectifier 10 with control electrode to interrupt charging of condensers 3, 3a, 3b and disables the ignition device.
