Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain various advance angle characteristic through ignition control with the constant timing or advance angle timing in response to the number of revolution in the engine by means of two types of timing signal with different phases. CONSTITUTION:An igniter is composed of the firet timing signal generating means 8 to generate the first timing signal V3 which synchronizes with revolution of the engine, and whose voltage rises as the number of revolution increases, the second timing signal generating means 9 to generate the second timing signal V4 which has delayed by a specific phase, a waveform shaping circuit 10 including the first capacitor 11, the second capacitor 13, and a resistor 18, a timing detecting circuit 19, a driving circuit 25, and a feedback circuit 31. When the engine is in low revolution, ignition is made by the second timing signal V4, at the constant ignition timing, when it is in high revolution, the number of revolution is established for starting and completing the advance angle by camparing the reference voltage with the voltage generated through capacitors 11, 13 and resistor 18, and when it is more than the number of revolution at the time of completing the advance angle, ignition is made by the first ignition timing signal V3 at the constant ignition timing.
