等かの衝撃や振動等によつて布ずれが生じ易い。

送方向aと平行する案内面4aが形成されてい
る。5は前記定規台1にて布搬送方向aと直交す
る方向へ移動可能に嵌挿した案内棒で、その先端
部は定規台1の布案内部2に形成した切欠部2b
より突出し、また後端部は定規台1の後端面より
突出してる。6は前記案内棒5の先端部に固着し
た検出子で、前記布案内部2の切欠部2bに嵌挿
可能となつており、常にはばね7によつて布搬送
方向aと直交する方向へ付勢されている。8は前
記検出棒5の後方部に固着したストツパーで、前
記ばね7によつて布搬送方向aと直交する方向へ
付勢される検出子6の位置を布側縁端c1の通過
経路上に位置させるようになつている。9は前記
検出棒5の後端部にマグネツトホルダー9aを介
して固着したマグネツト、10は磁気検出器で、
前記マグネツト9との距離に応じた値の信号を出
力するようになつており、以上5〜10により検出
手段Aを構成している。11は、前記磁気検出器
10の出力値に応じた角度回転するパルスモー
タ、12はこパルスモータ11のモータシヤフト
11aに固着した回動腕、13はこの回動腕12
と前記布当定規4とを連結する連結腕で、ねじ1
4,15にてそれぞれ回動自在に連結されてい
る。16は第2図において、回動腕12の右方へ
の回転を規制するストツパーねじである。以上1
1〜16により定規移動手段Bを構成している。
なお、17は第5図に示すように前記定規台1に
固着して成る裾引き羽根で、U字形状を成してお
り、第4図に示すように布cをS字状に屈曲させ
て前記布当定規4の布案内面へ送り出すようにな
つている。また、第5図においてMはミシン本

じた位置まで回動腕12を第3図中反時計方向へ
回転させ、移動腕13を介して布当定規4を縫段
部c2の厚さ分後退させる(矢印b方向へ移動さ
せる)。これにより、縫段部c2は無理なく適正
な状態で布当定規4の案内面4aと当接しながら
移動してゆく。従つて、布当定規4と縫段部c2
との当接により布cにずれが生じることはない。

過した後は、ステツピングモータ11を逆回転さ
せて初期位置に復帰させ、布当定規4を初期位置

ータ11の駆動開始時から縫段部c2が布案内面
4aを通過し終えるまでの間の針目数を予め設定
しておき、ステツピングモータ11の駆動開始と
同時にカウンタを作動させて針目数をカウントさ
せ、設定値に達した時点でステツピングモータ1
