Abstract

PURPOSE: To separate particles, which cannot be separated in an outer cyclone, by means of an inner cyclone by a mechanism wherein the inner cyclone is combined into the outer cyclone and an inner suction port is connected to an outer exhaust cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: Gas containing pulverulent bodies, dust and liquid-drops, whose dimensions differ, is let flow in from an outer suction port 1. Thus, the gas is turned and fluidized between an outer cyclone 2 and an outer exhaust cylinder 3, and the pulverulent bodies, the dust and the liquid-drops, whose particles are large, are separated and fall in a dust collecting chamber 8. The gas containing the pulverulent bodies, the dust and the liquid-drops, which are not separated and whose particles are small, passes between the outer exhaust cylinder 3 and an inner cyclone 6, and flows into an inner suction port 5 from a notch portion of a notched dash- board 4 in series. The velocity of flow is increased, the gas is changed into a flow in the circumferential direction, flows into the inner cyclone 6 in the tangential direction and is turned and fluidized, the pulverulent bodies, the dust and the liquid-drops, whose particles are small, are separated and fall and are recovered into the dust collecting chamber 8, and residual gas is exhausted from an inner exhaust cylinder 7.
