Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable accurate evaluation of flaw detecting picture, by storing ultrasonic wave echo to the digital picture memory, sectioning it in a plurality of levels at readout, and performing display on level.
CONSTITUTION: The ultrasonic wave reflection signal input from the probe 1 is digitized at the AD converter 3 through the flaw detector 2 and it is written in the memory 4. At readout, the data written in the memory 4 is decoded into each level with the decoder, and the level signal equired is selected through the gates 9W11 controlled with the level selection switch 8. This signal is fed to the video signal generation circuit via the synthesis circuit 12 and converted into video signal and displayed on the video monitor 14. Thus, since the display on level proportional to the ultrasonic wave signal level is possible, accurate evaluation for flaw detecting image can be made.
