Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify circuit constitution, by making it possible to display zero shift after freeze by rewriting the data of an image memory by controlling the read address of the data from a large capacity memory. CONSTITUTION:In an M-mode processing system, the output of a receiving circuit 3 is received by a detection circuit 4 and the detection output thereof is converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 5 while the digital signal is stored in a large capacity memory 16 and also outputted to an image memory 8 through a change-over device 7. In a Doppler processing system, the output of the aforementioned receiving circuit 3 is received by a phase detecting circuit 9 and the detection output thereof is analyzed by a frequency analyser 10 while the analytical result is stored in a large capacity memory 11 and sent to the image memory 8 through a change-over device 12. The signal read from the image memory 8 is displayed on a display apparatus 13. A zero shift controller 14 controls the processing of the frequency analyser 10 when the frequency analytical result is directly written in the image memory 8 and also controls the reading address of the large capacity memory 11 when the output of the large capacity memory 11 is written in the image memory 8.
