Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate a picture processing by developing an echo data at it is so that respective acoustic wave beams proceed in parallel, and by recording data of the same distance from an ultrasonic-wave vibrator as mutual corresponding picture data. CONSTITUTION:Echo information from transmitter-receiver 6 is stored in processing memory device 9 via A/D converter 1. In this case, the echo information is developed so that respective acoustic wave beams will be in parallel, and data of the same distance from the ultrasonic-wave vibrator are stored as mutual corresponding picture data. Data, read out of processing memory device 9, is processed by picture processing unit 10, written in display memory device 2 and further read out according to the TV standard scan system, so that it will be supplied to TV display device 4 via A/D converter 3.
