Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a feed water smoothly by an arrangement wherein a flow passage in a connecting pipe is controlled by a detection diaphragm of a pressure switch, and a by-path allowing the water to flow only to pressure tank from the connecting pipe is provided.
CONSTITUTION: In a system that an approach of a pressure tank 13 is controlled through operation of a pressure switch 15 and a large quantity of air can be sealed in the pressure tank 13, water can be allowed to flow through a by-path, or particularly from a flow passage 21 to a flow passage 23 side only, in parallel with the flow passage controlled at the approach of the pressure tank 13 through operation of the pressure switch 15. An occurrence of chattering of a valve consisting of a pressure detection diaphragm 27 due to a large pressure difference arising between a feed water pipe and the pressure tank can be prevented completely at the time of feeding water to the pressure tank for the first time immediately after installation of an automatic pump and also at the time of closing a faucet quickly. A smooth automatic operation can thus be secured.
