Abstract

PURPOSE: To effect treatment in accordance with changes at load of flowing-in separated liquid, obtained by dehydration treatment of sewage by using multi-stage rotary type biological oxidation tank.
CONSTITUTION: Sewage from urine/feces sanitation tank is passed through receiving tank 1, reservoir 2, concentration tank 3 and sent to dehydrator 5, where it is treated with dehydration. The generated separation liquid is biologically treated in a multi-stage rotary type biological oxidation tank 6. In this treatment of the tank 6, separation liquid is charged into the first 61 to the third 63 tanks in proper charging rate to meet the load of charging. That is, high-charging-load separation liquid is divided into the first and second tanks for treatment. The low-load liquid is directly charged into the second and following tanks. This divided treatment improves BOD removing ratio, and is effective in avoiding bad odor generation which is likely to occur in the first stage high load charging.
