Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain burn-out up-scale when disconnection occurs in a temperature measuring resistor by inserting a resistor and a semiconductor element in electric wires connecting a voltage detection lead wire and a common lead wire to an input of an operator in an automatic control system such that the resistor and semiconductor element cross each other.
CONSTITUTION: A high resistor R3 is provided between a node of a voltage detection lead wire B1 and a resistor R2 and a COM having a common electric potential, and a diode D between a node of a resistor R2 and an opposite phase input terminal of an operator 3 and a common lead wire B2. When disconnection occurs in a current supply lead wire A of a temperature measuring resistor 1, an electric current (i) from a constant current source 2 flows to a zener diode ZD alone, and a charge voltage of a capacitor C2 is discharged momentarily through R2 and Rb. As a result, an output voltage from the operator 3 is momentarily put in a burn-out up-scale. When disconnection occurs in the lead wire B1, the same result is finally obtained. When the lead wire B2 is broken, an output from the operator 3 can be put in a burn-out up-scale properly in accordance with a selected value of the resistor R2.
