Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the captioned scroll of good accuracy to be produced with good productivity by superposing the plural spiral thin plates of the same shape having been press-blanked on a separately provided bottom plate surface, and bonding the same.
CONSTITUTION: A blank 5 is placed in a die 7 and with the plate pressing and reverse pressing forces being held applied to the blank by plates 8, 9 respectively, a punch 6 is lowered, whereby a spiral thin plate 2a of the shearing section free from shear droops and fracture surfaces is blanked. On the other hand, a bottom plate 1 is also pressed by a precision press blanking machine. At this time jig-setting holes 11 are simultaneously blanked. Next, a jig 10 having the groove holes 12 of the same shapes as the thin plate 2a and the protrusions 13 matching the holes 11 on the outside circumferential part of the bottom surface, at the same height as the scroll part 2 and the bottom plate 1 are combined. A required number of the thin plates 2a are inserted and superposed into the grooves holes 12 to form the scroll part 2. This and the bottom plate are heated while the specified forces are being applied from the top and bottom directions to mutually bond the bottom plate and thin plates 2a through metal diffusion phenomenon, whereby the scroll is made.
