Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A molding die 5 having groove-cutting protrusions 6 on the outside circumference is pushed into the heat exchange pipe 2, onto which heat radiation fins 3 have been inserted, as shown by the solid lines while the forming piece 5 is being revolved by a revolving shaft 4 or is pulled into the pipe 2 as shown by the chain lines. By this pressure insertion, a plurality of spiral grooves 7 are formed on the inside wall surface of the pipe 2 and at the same time the pipe 2 is firmly pressure-contacted to the respective heat radiation fins 3 on the outer side through expansion of the pipe 2.
