Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable high efficiency and accurate removal of the coating film in the neck of a bulb by providing an annular air injection nozzle at the tip of an air intake tube which is inserted into the neck and a turbulence generation guide along the air intake tube. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent coating film A is coated on the inside of a bulb 1 in high pressure mercury lamps. In order to remove the coating film A of a neck 2 of the bulb 1, an unnecessary film remover 3 is inserted into the neck 2. This unnecessary film remover 3 consists of an air intake pipe 4, turbulence generation guide 11 which encloses the outer peripheral of the surface of the air intake tube 4, nozzle components 6a and 6b, pressurized air source 5, and vacuum absorber 19. The pressurized air from the pressurized air source 5 passes through the air intake tube 4 and is injected on the inside of the neck from a nozzle 10. This air is injected over all the surfaces of the neck 2 by means of the turbulence generation guide 11. This injected air enables the unnecessary coating film on the inside of the tube to be removed.
