Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the thickness of a phosphor paint film homogeneous by making a liquid guide piece to touch the lower end of a glass tube during the process in which the said phosphor paint film is dried, and thereby removing the phosphor coating liquid remaining at the lower end of the tube. CONSTITUTION:After a phosphor is applied to the inner wall of a glass tube 1 by making a phosphor coating liquid to flow down, a paint film 2 formed is dried. In the above drying process, a phosphor coating liquid 4 remaining on the inner surface of a lower end 3 of the tube 1 is made to easily drop by making a conic tool 7 to touch the above inner surface by moving the tool 7 up and down by means of an axis 6. As a result, the coating film of the lower end 3 of the tube 1 is made thin.
