CONSTITUTION: 1W80% of calcium carbonate or magnesium carbonate is added to a natural or artificial carbide layer of coal, charcoal, activated carbon or the like, and waste water contg. fluorine ion and/or phosphoric acid ion is passed through the resulting layer to remove the ions. By regulating the water passing speed or the amt. of the carbonate added, the pH of the waste water is adjusted to enable discharge of the water from the plant.
