Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect dust removing time with good accuracy by letting at least one of dust removing part plates the divided plates and using only the plate on the upper stream side of the divided plates for detection of electrostatic capacity thereby deciding the dust removing time.
CONSTITUTION: The specified frequency and sepcified voltage is supplied from an AC power source 8 to the AC circuit of the high voltage plate 2A which is divided and is positioned on the upper stream side, a ground plate 1, coupling capacitor 6 and transformer 7, and the AC current superposed on DC is flowed to the plate 2A. The decision circuit 10 having a current detector 9 on this AC circuit provides the decision output deciding the time when the AC current exceeds the specified value to be the time requiring dust removal in the dust collecting part. As a result of this, the dust removal time may be detected with good accuracy, becuase at least one of the plates of the dust removing part is divided and the dust removing time is decided from the change in the electrostatic capacity between the plate positioned on the upper stream side out of the divided plates and the plate opposing thereto.
