Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent temperature rise of a rear cylinder of a motor cycle effectively, by forming air passages between the tank rail and inner side faces of a fuel tank, and providing wind guide members in the air passages so that wind is directed onto the rear cylinder. CONSTITUTION:In a motor cycle, a plurality of cylinders 21, 22 are disposed longitudinally of the motor cycle body, and fuel tank 40 having fuel chambers 41 is placed on tank rail 2 of main frame 1 in the manner straddling the same. Here, arrangement is such that a sufficient clearance is formed between tank rail portion 2 and inner surfaces 42 of fuel tank 40 facing the tank rail portion 2 so as to provide air passages 43 therebetween. Further, a pair of wind guide plates 44 are disposed on the opposite sides of main frame 1 in the manner straddling the main frame 1 and bracket 23, so that wind is guided into air passages 3 from downwards of steering head pipe 4. Upwardly of ignition coil 45, there is fixed flow straightening plates 46 in the manner extending through bracket 23. Further, upwardly of rear cylinder 22, there is provided baffle members 47 in the manner closing the air passages 43.
