Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain an AC regulated power supply of high precision by setting the effective voltage of a voltage to the feedback loop of an AC phase control circuit by using a multiplier.
CONSTITUTION: In a regulated power circuit using an AC phase control circuit, alternating currents, applied to input terminals 1 and 2, have operating angles controlled by SCR5 after passing through load 3 and diode bridge 4. This load 3 supplies its across waveform to multiplier 7 via waveform-detecting transformer 6, multiplier 7 develops a voltage in proportion to the square of the voltage of the waveform of transformer 6, and relative amplifier 8 makes a comparison between and amplifiers the voltage from multiplier 7 and reference voltage 9. Then, UJT oscillator 10 oscillates with time delay corresponding to the output of comparator 8 so as to supply a trigger pulse to gate 5 through pulse transformer 11. Consequently, the voltage controlled by an effecitve value obtained by squaring the voltage is applied across load 3, so that a highly-precise AC regulated power supply can be obtained.
