Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize an AC load to be constant voltage in a simple circuit by carrying out AC phase control after A/D conversion is applied to the level of an approximate value of a load, the result of which is fetched to a microprocessor as a digital input where processing by operations are performed. CONSTITUTION:The applied voltage to a load 3 is detected by a transformer 14, converted into an effective value by an approximate effective value conversion circuit 40, converted into digital value by an A/D converter 41 and fed back to a microprocessor (MPU). Here a sampling cycle on applying A/D conversion by the converter 41 becomes a delay in the feed back which generates an error: therefore, the zero cross of the AC voltage of the power supply is detected by a zero cross generator 42 and, at the moment of generation of a zero cross pulse, the internal counter of the MPU is started to decide the phase angle of ignition for phase control. Thereby the load voltage can be controlled at constant for the control of switch-on position of a high speed switching element 2.
