Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of liquid by securing sealing boards on both faces of insulative glass ring and placing the cell element into it. CONSTITUTION:Cell element or anode binder 5, separator 6 and cathode binder 7 are arranged in thin ring 1 where Ag ion and Cu ion are added in insulative glass composition and melted then both ends are sealed by sealing board 4 such as nickel which works as anode electron collecting board and another sealing board 8 of nickel-stainless steel clad board which works as cathode electron collecting board, to obtain enclosed cell. Said ring 1 has a metallic layer 2 on the surface which is formed by heating to expose said Ag or Cu ion and reducint it. Each sealing board 4, 8 is secured through said metallic layer 2 with metallic layer having low melting point such as silver solder or solder. Said low melting point metal can be replaced with nickel galvernizing to solder the sealing boards 4, 8 directly.
