Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent cracking due to distortion stress in printing operation and to facilitate preparation by a method wherein a protective film for a resistor-heater is formed by laminating a sealing protection film and an anti-abrasion protection film which have the same kind of metal for their main constituent. CONSTITUTION:On the main surface of a glazed-ceramic substrate 1 is formed a resistor-heater 2 having Ni, Cr, Ta2N, etc. for its constituent. On the surface of this resistor-heater 2 is formed an electrode 3 for making the heater 2 work. And on the main surface of the glazed-ceramic substrate 1 is formed a sealing protection film 4 by laminating, for instance, a tantalum-oxide layer 4a and metallic-tantalum layer 4b sequentially, containing the heater 2 and the electrode 3, while on the surface of the sealing protection film being formed an anti-abrasion protection film 5 composed of a tantalum-oxide layer 5a. In this way, the cracking due to distortion stress caused by a large difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion is to be prevented, while preparation being simplified by the replacement of target being made unnecessary.
