Abstract
PURPOSE:To make possible the simple operation to control the shape with quick response, by controlling the peripheral speed of one of a couple of opposite rolls independently of another roll, for adjusting the rario of peripheral speeds. CONSTITUTION:Perpendicularly crossing couples of rolling rolls 31, 32 and 41, 42, are respectively driven by the driving shafts 71, 72 and 101, 102; respective driving shafts 71, 72 and 101, 102, are respectively driven by motors 111, 112, and 121, 122; each of these motors is controlled by the motor speed controller 17. In this constitution, the ratio of peripheral speeds V31/V32 of rolls 31, 32, and the ratio of peripheral speeds V41/V42 of rolls 41, 42, are changed to prevent the bending. For instance, when the rolled H beam 1 is bending toward the rolling roll 31, the ratio V31/V32 is increased, and when the situation is inverse, the ratio is decreased. When the rolled H beam is bending toward the rolling roll 41, the ratio V41/V42 is increased similarly to avove.
