Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the friction force between a plate-like body and bending bars and to improve the folding accuracy of the plate-like body such as corrugated board sheet by forming the bending bars abutting on the plate-like body of flexible materials, and applying universal rotating forces to these bending bars. CONSTITUTION:Plural saggital supports 10 are disposed to bending bars 6 formed of flexible materials to make the rotation of the bars 6 universal. The bars 6 are spread in the conveying direction of a plate-like body 2 like corrugated board sheet, and are brought into abutment on the body 2. When a variable speed motor 9 is started, torsional revolutions are given to the bars 6. The rotating speeds of the bars 6 are changed freely by regulating the speed of the motor 9. Thereby, the advancing plate-like body is folded as desired under contact with the bars 6.
