Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the brazability and buckling resistance of the title sheet and enhance the cathodic carrosion protection effect thereof by cladding both sides of a Zn-added Al alloy core material with an Al alloy shell material contg. Sn and/or In. CONSTITUTION:This brazing sheet is manufactured by cladding both sides of a core material consisting of Zn; 0.4-3.0%, one or more out of Mn<=1.5%, Mg<= 1,3%, Si<=1.0%, Cu<=0.4% and Zr<=0.2%, and the balance Al with a shell material consisting of Sn and/or In; 0.01-2.0%, Si; 5-15%, Mg; 0.2-3% and the balance Al in a ratio of 5-20% each. Because of its low vapor press. Sn or In is slightly evaporated by vacuum brazing and remains in the brazing material layer to well enhance the cathodic corrosion protection effect of the sheet.
