Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a relay or other element by a method wherein in a driving current circuit of a driving magnet system for a line printer etc. an abnormal current detecting mean is provided and a stabilizing transistor of a constant voltage source for driving magnets is controlled by means of its output. CONSTITUTION:Magnet coils L1-L136 are drived with magnet drivers Q1-Q136, respectively. A current detector 3 is provided in addition to voltage detectors D1- D136 which are connected in parallel with each of magnet drivers Q1-Q136. When any of voltage detectors D1-D136 or a current detector 3 detects a fault, its output is transferred to a controller 7 and the output from the controller 7 is transferred to the base of the stabilizing transistor of a constant voltage source 6, and the current flowing through the magnet driving system is controlled by it.
