Abstract

PURPOSE:To recover a thermostatic function quickly and prevent a window from collecting moisture while a compressor is not in operation, by setting an intake door in position for feeding open air. CONSTITUTION:Under control of a spring 8 and an actuator 7 an intake door 4 of an automatic air conditioner takes up three positions for cutting off open air, shown by the solid line in the drawing, feeding open air only, shown by the dotted line, and feeding both open air and inside air, shown by the chain line. Trapped air is fed into a car space via a blower 5 and an evaporator 12. When the interior temperature is high, through open air is cold at a temperature about 5 deg.C, the compressor 11 is not operated in account for its protection. The automatic amplifier acts on a solenoid valve 9 to work the actuator 7, which positions the intake door for supplying open air. Cool air can be supplied into a car in case where the compressor is not operated so that room temperature can be quickly controlled and a window can be prevented from collecting moisture.
