Abstract
PURPOSE:To operate an inverter stably by controlling a slip frequency against an increase in an exciting current due to the fluctuation of power source or load or the saturation of an iron core. CONSTITUTION:A motor current Im detected by a current detector 7 and an electric current Io set by a current setter 9 are subjected to operation by a subtractor 8. An output signal from the subtractor 8 is sent to an amplifier 10, in which a slip frequency signal es is generated to maintain the set current Io. A slip frequency fs is set such as to maintain the motor current Im at a constant level, so that stable characteristics can be obtained.
