Abstract

PURPOSE:To control an inverter as prescribed by maintaining the relationship between the primary voltage V of a motor and the frequency F of the primary current of the motor constantly to perform the prescribed control and varying the ratio of V/F in accordance with the load torque. CONSTITUTION:A given voltage setting instruction signal V is compared with a voltage detection signal produced from a voltage transformer by a comparator 6 of a majer loop, the voltage deviation from the comparator is temporarily amplified by an amplifier 7, the amplified current setting instruction signal is compared with a current detection signal by a comparator 12, the current deviation amount from the comparator is temporarily amplified by an amplifier 13, the signal from the amplifier is applied to a power reactor 1, which in turn controls the amplitude value of the primary current of the motor 4. Then, the excitation current I0 and the voltage setting instruction signal V are supplied to a divider 17, which divides as prescribed and produces V/I0, thereby controlling to generate maximum torque with minimum primary current.
