Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution by securing combination between the IC-formed differential voltage comparating circuit and the phase shifting circuit and thus securing the peculair function for the voltage comparative circuit. CONSTITUTION:Input signal source 1 is connected to the reverse input terminal and nonreverse input terminal each of differential voltage comparison amplifier 9 via resistances 6 and 7. Here amplifier 9 turns into the reverse amplifier featuring the amplification factor of 1 when switching transistor 12 is on. In that case it is supposed that resistance 6 and 8 are equal to each other. On the other hand, amplifier 9 turns into the nonreverse amplifier of amplification factor 1 in case transistor 12 is off. Now it is supposed that the input signal features the rectangular wave along with delay time defined to t for resistance 10 and capacitor 11 which form the phase shifter. Thus the outpt of amplifier 9 generates the pulse of duration t at the time points of rise and fall of the input signal. This output pulse is then integrated to secure the function as the frequency discriminator. In this way, a discriminator can be obtained with the simplified constitution if the circuit.
