Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a coaxial waveguide converter which features an facilitated adjustment and the excellent electric characteristics by providing the internal conductor with eccentricity to the center line of the external conductor. CONSTITUTION:Columnar external conductor 11 of the coaxial line which is rotatable is provided by being fitted to inside of cylindrical pedestal 10 provided on surface E of square waveguide 1. The hole is drilled to conductor 11 with eccentricity to the center line to be inserted by insulator 5 and internal conductor 4. The horizontal position can be adjusted by truning conductor 11. Thus the input admittance of tube 1 varies by giving the up-down change to probe 6 via screw mechanism 7. As a result, a good matching is secured quickly between tube 1 and the coaxial line.
