Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the good frequency characteristics with a simple constitution by providing the frequency variable mechanism and the high frequency loss substance within the auxiliary cavity and then installing at the loss substance the insertion position variable mechanism into the cavity. CONSTITUTION:Auxiliary cavity 3 connected to square waveguide 1 via connection hole 2 provided on the short axis surface of waveguide 1 is installed to waveguide 1. Cavity 3 incorporates frequency variable mechanism 4 and high frequency loss substance 5, and insertion position variable mechanism 6 into the cavity is installed to loss substance 5. Thus the equalizing circuit is controlled while observing the output waveforms, and as a result the good frequency characteristics can be obtained with a simple constitution.
