Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a sufficiently wide range of frequency control with a simple mechanism, by removing a prescribed area of an electrode on a dielectric substrate to expose the surface of the substrate and securing the rubbing of a frequency control disk on the exposed substrate. CONSTITUTION:An end of an internal conductor 2 provided on the inner surface of an external conductor 1 is connected to an electrode 5 provided on a single surface of a dielectric substrate 4. An electrode 7 is provided on the other side of the substrate 4 to be adhered to the inner surface of the conductor 1. A round hole 31 is drilled to the side wall of the conductor 1 at the side where the substrate 4 is adhered, and a part 32 having a proper form and no electrode is provided at a part of the electrode 7 in correspondence to the hole 31. Then a control disk 33 is put into the hole 31, and the disk 33 is pressed to the substrate 4 and the electrode 7. In such constitution, the effective area of the electrode 7 varies with the rotation of the disk 33 in accordance with the relative positional relation between the electrode 7 and an electrode 36 on the disk 33. As a result, the frequency can be controlled largely and steplessly.
