PURPOSE:To achieve stabilization of adequate descending and reduce the fluctuations of the in-furnace gas flow by drawing out the furnace top pressure and blast pressure from the blast furnace top and hot blast system, operating the differential pressure thereof and controlling the furnace top pressure so that the differential pressure fluctuations become smaller. CONSTITUTION:Furnace top pressure PT and blast pressure PB are continuously measured from respective pressure detecting ends 11, 15. The pressures PT, PB are then sent to the pressure gauges 12, 16 in the respective control systems A, B and the pressure signals are converted to electric signals. These electric signals are inserted into an arithmetic circuit 17 through branch circuit 19 and control system T, where the differential pressure DELTAP of the pressures PB and PT is operated. The differential pressure DELTAP is inserted into a controller 18. In the controller 18, it is compared with a set differential pressure DELTAP and the signal being the result of the comparison is sent to a septum valve 9 through electric oil device 14, by which the opening of the valve 9 is controlled and the pressure PT is regulated.
