CONSTITUTION:An image signal from the signal source 8 is fed to the piezo-electric driving circuit 6 and changing voltage control means 7, voltage the value of which is proportional to the weight of each ink drop is provided to the charging electrode 5. The ink drop jetted from the nozzle 3 is charged by the charging electrode 5 so that g/m is made fixed, and is accelerated by the accelerating field between the charging electrode 5 and the accelerating electrode 9. Although weights of ink drops are different from each other, the acceleration applied to the ink drop by the accelerating field becomes constant, any of ink drops is uniformly accelerated. The position shift of the ink drop smashed onto the recording medium 11 is less, a record of high quality can be obtained.
