Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent reduction of the degree of vacuum of the tube with the softening of the hermetically sealed section by easing temperature rise of eyelets and the neighborhood thereof with heat radiating action of radiating fins.
CONSTITUTION: A cup-shaped stem insulation base 1 of a ceramic material and condictive wires 3, 4 of molybdenum of the like penetrating the bottom wall 2 of the base are hermetically sealed together with metal eyelets 15, 16 soldered to the outer surface of the bottom wall 2. The eyelets 15, 16 have flange-like portions provided with respective, integrally extending tongue portions 17, 18 as terminals. Radiating fins 19, 20 of a good heat conductor metal consisting of aluminum or copper are secured by welding or the like to the tongue portions 17, 18.
