Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform adsorption or ion exchange reaction with good efficiency by binding magnetically magnetic particles by using at least two or more magnetic generators and at the same time connecting them to a regenerative magnetic packed tower. CONSTITUTION:In order to remove subject components in liquid to be treated, the liquid is separated from process flow or the whole of the liquid is introduced from the lower part 11 of the magnetic packed tower into the magnetic packed tower 1 by the pump 10. When introducing the liquid into the tower 1, subject components in the liquid are reacted with magnetic particles bound magnetically to a vessel 7 and 9 both packed with fine magnetic wires. And, the liquid deprived of the aimed components by magnetic particles is discharged from the upper part 12 of the tower. The regeneration of magnetic particles is carried out by introducing the liquid into the upper part 12 of the packed tower after a certain hour after use, discharging it from the lower part 11, and then introducing it into the regenerating magnetic packed tower 23. In this case, the passage of electricity to the magnetic generator 6 is stopped or weakened and electricity is passed to the regenerating magnetic generator 24 in order to arrest magnetic particles which are bound in the magnetic fine wire packed tank 7 by the magnetic fine wire 25 for treatment.
