Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently regenerate an adsorbent packed in a vessel by successively performing regeneration from the part high to the part low in adsorbate concn. CONSTITUTION:When a fluid to be adsorbed is allowed to flow through a vessel 21 packed with an adsorbent toward an outlet 1 from an inlet 2, the adsorbate concn. is made high and low at the lower- and upper parts of the vessel respectively. In case of regenerating this adsorbent, after firstly regeneration fluid is allowed to flow into the low part from the intermediate part of the vessel 21 through a regeneration pipe 4 and the adsorbent 22 is regenerated, the regeneration fluid is sent into the vessel 21 through a regeneration pipe 3 and the adsorbent low in adsorbate concn. is regenerated toward the lower part from the upper part. By such a way, regeneration is successively performed and regeneration efficiency is enhanced.
