Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure an easy detection of the full oxidation and the amount of sludge by providing the circulating tube path to circulate the insulating oil with the electrode installed in the course of the tube path, and at the same time to ensure a high-accuracy measurement for the electric resistance and the dielectric loss tangent of the insulating oil in the process of oxidation deterioration.
CONSTITUTION: The surface treatment is given to the inner wall of metal container 1 via the resin, glass and the like, and the upper part of this container is covered with cover 2 to form sealed container 20. The necessary amount of insulating oil 3 is stored into container 20, and heater 4 is installed at the outer wall side of container 20 to heat up the insulating oil. Oil 3 is circulated by liquid pump 9 and through circulating tube 8, and coaxial cylinder electrode 10 is provided in the course of tube 8. Electrode 10 comprises high voltage electrode 10a formed into a cylindrical form, low voltage electrode 10c to be installed inside electrode 10a via fixed gap 10b, and guard electrode 10d to be installed across electrode 10c respectively.
