Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to detect the flowing charge of transformer at the joining system, by providing the measuring electrode on the same surface as the inside surface of the tank having the insulation fluid flowing inside and measuring the current between the measuring electrode and ground.
CONSTITUTION: The measuring electrode 17 is provided on the same surface as the inside wall of the upper tank 1a. The cooling insulation oil is in contact with the measuring electrode 17 in flowing in the upper tank 1a and the current due to positive charges in oil is leaked to the measuring electrode 17. In this case, the leakage current is proportional to the entire positive charges in the inner oil space in the upper tank 1a. Accordingly, the relative value of the entire positive charges stored in the transformer upper tank 1a can be known with the fine ammeter 26 connected between the core of the external coaxial cable 25 and ground via the lead 23 and the oil-tight terminal 24 from the terminal 22 of the measuring electrode 17. Thus, the flowing charge of the transformer at the joining system can be detected.
