Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of linearity when a signal is large in amplitude by bearing fixed relation by providing a parallel circuit of diodes in mutually-opposite directions to connection points between two couples of series resistances interposed between collectors of two transistors and a power supply. CONSTITUTION:Emitters of differentially-connected transistors Tr1 and Tr2 are grounded in common via constant current supply 3, and the connection point of diodes 7 and 8 connected in mutually-opposite directions is also grounded via constant current supply 9. Between the connection point of resistances 15 and 16 and that of resistances 17 and 18, the parallel circuit of opposite-directinal diodes 19 and 20 is connected. Here, when the value of resistances 15 and 17, that of resistances 16 and 18, a voltage at the time of the conduction of diodes, and the current value of power supply 9 are denoted by R1, R2, VD, and I2, the relation of VD= I2(R1+R2) should be born. Consequently, the deterioration of linearity at the time of a large-amplitude signal can be prevented.
