Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent electrodes from interfering mutually by using at least two measuring electrodes, and then by measuring electrode currents synchronizing with pulsating voltages applied to those electrodes repeatedly and sequentially.
CONSTITUTION: Switching circuits 13 and 23 are turned ON-OFF by control circuit 30 to apply a pulsating voltage between the anode and cathode of alternate electrode 11 and 21. Currents flowing through electrodes 11 and 21 are detected by current detectors 14 and 24. A difference between the outputs of both current detectors 14 and 24 is calculated by subtracter circuit 31, whose subtraction output is displayed by display unit 25. The output of subtracter circuit 31 shows the generation quantity of hydrogen peroxide from cane sugar in a sample.
