Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the moisture sensing sensor, in which the change in the resistance characteristics is made small to the humidity of the sensor and can be used for a long time stably, by providing the electrode applying DC voltage to the moisture sensor and removing the electrolytic foreign matter infiltrated to the moisture sensor.
CONSTITUTION: Porous sintering plate made of bronze is adhered to the moisture sensing film 3, it is adhered to the frame 4 with silicon adhesives, and the cathode 5 to apply electrostatic field is formed. Further, the leads 6, 6',6" are fitted to the resistance measuring electrodes 2,2' of the moisture sensor 3 and the cathode 5 respectively. The leads 6,6,6" are respectively connected to the terminals A,B,C of the detector 7, and the resistance of the moisture sensor 3 is measured at the resistance measuring circuit 9. Then, as required, DC voltage is fed to the moisture sensor with the DC voltage supply unit 8 and the switch 10. Thus, the electrolytic foreign matter infiltrated to the moisture sensor 3 is collected to the cathode 5, allowing the moisture sensor to be used stably for a long time.
