Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a recorded picture, whose mean concentration of a picture is high and whose quality of the picture is excellent, by a method wherein a section, in which an ink master material and an accepting sheet travel while they remain as they fast stuck mutually, is mounted during the time when the accepting sheet is exfoliated from the ink master material recording in a thermal transcription. CONSTITUTION:An accepting sheet 2 consisting of normal paper is stacked at the ink layer side of ink master material 1 manufactured by forming a solid ink layer onto a film in a closely stuck shape, and characters, etc. are recorded in thermal transcription method under a condition that the ink master material and the accepting sheet are pressure-contacted with a thermal head 3 by means of a platen roller 4. The ink master material 1 and the accepting sheet 2 are let travel under a condition that the material 1 and the sheet 2 remain as they are stuck between a fixed section D after recording, and the accepting sheet 1 is exfoliated from the ink master material 1 by means of rollers 6 and an exfoliating means 5. A cooling means, such as, a radiator plate 7, etc. can also be mounted to the accepting sheet 2 between the section D between a recording portion and an exfoliating portion.
