Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer image of high quality irrespective of the type of a recording sheet by providing a means for thermally transferring an inverted ink negative image on a film and a means for transferring a positive image through the previous means. CONSTITUTION:An ink ribbon 2 supplied from an ink ribbon supply reel 1 passes between a thermal head 3 and the first platen 4 together with a film base 2A which loses ink 2B to form a positive image 5. The ribbon 2 on which the image 5 is formed passes between a transfer head 6 and the second platen 10 to transfer the image to a record sheet 9. The ribbon 2 loses all ink 2b, then passes again between the head 3 and the first platen 4 together with the ribbon 2 supplied from the reel 1 to form a negative image 7 corresponding to the inverted recorded information to be wound on an ink ribbon winding reel 8.

置としては、例えば特開昭57−150587に開示さ
れており、また、記録情報のネガ像およびポジ像を転写
できる装置としては特開昭57−64595および特開
昭57−120455に開示されている通りである。

て方向転換されイン△ り供給リール1より供給されるインクリボン2と共に再
びサーマルヘッド3と第1プラテン4間を通過すること
により、反転された記録情報に対応記録装置の概略構成
図を示したものであり、インクリボン供給リール1、サ
ーマルヘッド3、転写ヘッド6、インクリボン巻取リー
ル8、第1プラテン4、第2プラテン10、フィルム供
給+J −ル12、フィルム巻取リール13などから成
るインク転写部を備えている。
