Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform transfer recording with high quality irrespective of the material of a recording sheet, by transferring an ink at non-record-image parts to a transfer medium before transferring the ink of an ink film to a recording medium to record an image. CONSTITUTION:When recording is started, a thermal head 2a is operated to generate heat according to negative image information, thereby heating an ink film 1 being fed in the direction of an arrow (a). In this way, an ink on the ink film 1 is melted at a negative image part, and the melted ink is transferred to a transfer film 2c. Therefore, only the ink forming a record image is left on the ink film 1 passed through a negative image transferring means 2, and the ink film 1 in this condition is fed to an image-transferring means 3. の搬送方向下手側にインクフィルム上のインクを記録媒
体に転写する画像転写手段を設けたことを特徴としてな
るものである。

した転写フィルム2Cが同期搬送されるように構成され

流を流し得る電極で構成することによって、インクフィ
ルム1をネガ情報に応じて発熱させる如く構成してもよ

のみが存在することになる。従って記録媒体への過剰転
写を防止することが出来、また記録媒体にインクを転写
する際の温度や圧力を記録ヘッドによる転写熱や圧力と
は無関係に設定し得るので、転写媒体がラフペーパーで
あったとしても転写ムラを生ずることなく確実に転写す
ることが出来、更には転写媒体にはネガ像を転写するの
みである為に、中間転写体を用いるような高価な媒体や
複雑な構造を必要ともしない等の特徴を有するものであ
る。
