Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the power loss by connecting a rectifier which applies to the input of AC in parallel with the load with a switching element for discharge controlled by a pulse controller between an inductive load and a condenser for energy storage. CONSTITUTION:When a switching element 7 conducts a current by the input of the pulse from a pulse controller 8, a charged load in condenser for energy storage 8 flows to an inductive load 9. When a lagging current caused by the inductive load 9 becomes zero by decreasing the electric potential of the condenser 5, the said switching element 7 becomes non-conductive. On the other hand, a discharges energy stored in the inductive load 9 is fed back in the input source side 11 through the thyristor rectifier 10 when the voltage of the condenser 5 becomes lower than that of the thyristor rectifier 10 since the thyristor of the thyristor rectifier 10 is always applied by a gate voltage from AC input source 11.
