Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve less cost and easier handling by using the position signals having undergone direction discrimination from a length measuring device as gates thereby enabling fix point position signals to be obtained in the same position irrespective of the moving directions only with one position detector.
CONSTITUTION: This is the circuit for obtaining absolute null position signals in combination with a digital length measuring device such as magnetic scale device or the like, wherein a voltage e01 is generated in the output of a differential amplifier 6 by the relative movement (x) of a position detector 4 and a magnetism generating body 5. This is inputted to a Schmitt circuit 7 and the pulses obtained by an inverter circuit 8 and pulsing circuits 9, 10 are supplied to gate circuits 11, 12. Now, the position signal pulses P+, P- generating when the magnetic head of the length measuring device moves in the right or left direction are inputted to flip-flop circuit 14 and the outputs thereof are made the gate signals of the gate circuits 11, 12, then the pulses E7, E7' from an OR circuit 13 generates at the same point irrespective of the moving directions of the magnetic head and become fix point position signal pulses.
