Abstract

PURPOSE: To establish uniform film thickness, by synchronizing the time of additional open valuve period of the specific gravity meter in the slurry circulation system with detection signal with the injection operation signal of the injection valve, and by supplying high concentration slurry within a limit time.
CONSTITUTION: It is utilized that the amount of fluorescent substance in slurry is proportional to the appearent specific gravity of slurry. With the recovered slurry, the specific gravity is lowered together with the lowering in the liquid level of coated slurry in the dispenser 1, and high concentration slurry is filled to the dispenser with the detection signal of the specific gravity meter 8. The operation time of the additional valve 10 is synchronized with the operation of the injection valve 3, and the high concentration slurry is added with the additional valve 10 with the specific gravity lowering signal and the synchronizing signal to manage a given specific gravity. The valve 10 is operated 1 to 4 times against the operation of five times of the injection valve operation and one time is made less quantity. With this method, the variation in specific gravity is about 1/10 of conventional systesm, for the coated slurry, and uniform fluorescent substance film can be formed.
