Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively operate cutting as the grindstone position is controlled by detecting position change in a vertical derection at the upper end of a branch pipe with a pressure detector, equalizing the pressure on the grindstone from the branch pipe, detecting the tilt from the horizontal line at the upper end of the branch pipe with a position detector. CONSTITUTION:When the position change in a vertical direction takes place at the upper end of a branch pipe 21, a grindstone 11 gives pressure to a pressure detector 16 at time of cutting. this signal is carried to a hydraulic cylinder 2 through a servo-amp 22, a servo-valve 23, and the hydraulic cylinder 2 fluctuates an arm 1 to equalize the pressure from the branch pipe 21 against the grindstone 11, thus effecting the copy-cutting of the branch pipe with the grindstone 11. When the upper end of the branch pipe is tilted at the time of this cutting, the position detector 11 operates to send the signal to motor 13 through the servo-amp 24, rotating the grindstone 11 around the horizontal axis 12 to face the grindstone 11 correctly to the cutting surface. Thus, the branch pipe 21 is copy-cut as desired.
