Abstract

1,060,641. Dozers. FRANK G. HOUGH CO. Aug. 22, 1963 [Aug. 23, 1962], No. 33267/63. Heading E1F. Vertical swinging of a pair of dozer bladecarrying arms about pivotal connections between the mid portions of the arms and a tractor is controlled by fluid actuated double acting rams extending between pivotal connections on the tractor and the free ends of the arms, the rams being so incorporated in a control circuit by a pair of pipes connected respectively between corresponding ends of the rams that on operation of a blade-tilting ram extending between one arm and the blade rotation of the support arms in opposite senses about the pivotal connections thereof with the tractor may occur so that the blade can tilt about the longitudinal axis of the tractor.
